Perhaps something else to buff nearby friendlies? I don't know why Tarkin is such a shot out of left field, he's certainly one of the most noteworthy villains from the franchise. As a commander, it would make sense for him to call in an Orbital Strike with a long-ass cooldown. Give him a buffed pistol, and throw on some support abilities like Leia has. Yeah, it would be strange to see him on the battlefield, but Palpatine never fought with infantry either and he works just fine in the game. Veers is a bit too obscure, I agree, but Tarkin had far more screen time than Greedo. Especially considering that, as you also mentioned, there aren't many villains to choose from. I chose to go with total because I seriously can't think of 8 heroes and villains from the original trilogy IN ADDITION to the three six we already have. You're right, it is worded very carefully. People want to demonize DICE but this decision would make absolutely no logical sense. Sure, this would be the absolute easiest way out for DICE, but they already took the time to model new designs for all of the existing six heroes and I refuse to believe that they would piss off so many fans after the initial backlash after launch. Of all of the potential Alliance heroes (Lando, Chewie, Yoda, Ben Kenobi,) they're going to fill one of our two slots (remember, DICE said 4 new heroes total) with Nien Nunb? No, I don't buy it. Nien Nunb would be even more of a bizarre choice. Bossk/IG-88? Worked briefly for the Empire, they make much more sense. Greedo doesn't make sense, he was Jabba's thug and neither he nor Jabba had any affiliation with the Empire. It's just a promo shot and it doesn't mean anything.ДICE is working entirely within canon, so they've said multiple times. Of all of the potential heroes to choose, mark my words, they will not go with these two.
